Police said a drug investigation led to the discovery of 75 marijuana plants worth more than $180,000.

Fletcher police said on Thursday they served a search warrant at 42-year-old Todd Stimson's Fawnhurst Lane home where they found the plants. Police said the plants have a potential street value worth $180,000.

Stimson was charged with manufacturing marijuana, maintaining a dwelling to keep controlled substances, possession with intent to sell/deliver controlled substances, felony possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The same day, police said they arrested another man at a separate apartment on the property with having different drugs.

That man, 36-year-old Charles Sumner, was arrested and charged with possession of schedule I and VI drugs which consisted of mushrooms, marijuana and salvia.

Along with Fletcher police, the Hendersonville Police Department, Henderson County Sheriff's Office and the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation were involved in the investigation.
