WALHALLA, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Oconee County deputies said a Salem woman who was last seen more three and a half weeks ago has been located safely, according to deputies.

Deputies said 44-year-old Rudi Murphy's daughter filed a report on Monday after receiving a phone call from her mom's cell phone from someone she did not know.

Rudi Murphy contacted her daughter in the late afternoon on Monday and informed her that she was safe and well, according to deputies.

Murphy's daughter said her mom was evicted from her Alexander Road home and had been staying wherever she could, according to deputies.

Sometime after the eviction, the daughter received a phone call from Murphy's phone and the caller said they had found the phone near a tent by the lake, deputies said. The daughter did not ask where along the lake the phone was found though the person said they would leave it by the tent, deputies said.

Deputies said they want to speak with whoever found the phone.

Deputies said they are no longer looking for help finding Murphy
