Troopers: Motorcyclist killed in Laurens County crash

LAURENS, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Troopers said a motorcyclist is dead after a crash in Laurens County on Saturday.

Troopers said the driver of a Harley-Davidson was headed east on Neely Ferry Road around 5 p.m. when the driver lost control and was thrown off the motorcycle.

Troopers said the motorcycle continued to travel over the center line and hit a pickup truck. The driver of the pickup truck was not injured.

Troopers said the motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Laurens County Sheriff's Office has not yet released the victim's identity.
