SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Deputies said someone is spray painting billboards in Spartanburg County and they hope someone will recognize a person they think is behind the graffiti.

Spartanburg County deputies said the vandalism suspect is tagging billboards in the county.

Deputies said one of the vandalized billboards is located along South Pine Street and the suspect was caught on video camera. According to a deputy's report, the one billboard's damage is worth $1,000.

Lt. Ashley Harris with the sheriff's office said the suspect drives a white Ford Ranger pickup truck. Harris said there is also a young girl in her teens to early 20s involved.

Anyone who can identify the person is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
