ENOREE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A Tyger River Correctional Institution employee has been charged, after providing key drawings and impressions to inmates, according to reports from the South Carolina Department of Corrections.

Jeffrey Miller, 24, has been charged with two counts of aiding escape from prison, and two counts of misconduct in office, according to the Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office.

The reports said Miller provided several inmates with drawn patterns of a key, for a housing unit in the institution. The reports also said Miller provided Styrofoam impressions of keys to inmates.

The keys provided access to front doors, back doors, wings and inmates' rooms in two different units, according to the South Carolina Department of Corrections.

The reports from the institution said Miller admitted guilt in the form of a written statement.
