COLUMBIA, SC (AP) -

Gov. Nikki Haley's foundation is bringing a job fair, medical screenings and vaccinations to Union County.

The Original Six Foundation is scheduled to be at The University of South Carolina's Union campus Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Lunch will be provided.

It is the seventh community day for the foundation, which tries to bring private support to solve problems in poor, rural counties.

Union County's event will include a job fair with resume workshops.

Attendees can receive free medical, dental, eye, chiropractic and diabetic screenings. The first 200 children to complete four screenings can pick a free backpack. Required vaccines for those children entering seventh grade are also available for free.

The foundation has already held events in Allendale, Bamberg, Barnwell, Clarendon, Marion and Marlboro counties.
