GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Sen. Lindsey Graham was in Greenville to talk about gun safety Friday.

Graham, along with the Greenville Police Department and the Greenville County Sheriff's Office, were hoping to raise awareness about firearm storage and safety.

The event at Sharpshooters Gun Club & Range started at 11 a.m. at the Rutherford Road store. Free gun locks were also be passed out.

Amanda Furrer, who was on the Team USA Shooting team and a 2012 Rifle Olympian, was in attendance along with a representative of the National Shooting Sports Foundation.
