SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A car crashed into a house in Spartanburg County on Friday afternoon injuring three people, including two children, according to Chris Weathersbee, captain of the Converse Fire Department.

One child had a possible fracture and the adult had a broken ankle, Weathersbee said.

Weathersbee said the car crashed into an unoccupied home that had been recently sold.

The car was possibly holding up the house, Weathersbee said.

The building codes department was on the way to the scene to inspect the damage.
