GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Greyhound is moving from its downtown Greenville hub to a location closer to Interstate 85.

The new bus stop will be located at 9 Hendrix Dr. right off Woodruff Road and a few blocks east of I-85 and I-385.

The new stop will replace Greyhound's operations at the downtown bus station on West McBee Avenue starting Sept. 4.

Greyhound will offer seven daily schedules from the new stop including destinations like Atlanta, Chicago, Columbia, Detroit, Richmond and New York City.

The Hendrix Drive location will operate Monday – Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. It will also offer ticketing and Greyhound Package Express (GPX) service for shipping needs.

Greenville's Greenlink bus system said it is moving into Greyhound's offices at the McBee bus station and hopes to be set up in early September. Greenlink's move will not affect its routes.
