GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Troopers said Anderson Road was closed at White Horse Road because of flooding in Greenville.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms were forecast to move across the Upstate Wednesday, with isolated downpours possible, according to FOX Carolina Meteorologist Nicole Papay.

Troopers said the road was closed about 12:20 p.m.

A FOX Carolina iWitness sent in a photo that showed the road flooded near the Greenville County Anderson Road Library branch location. He said firefighters had blocked off the road.

A FOX Carolina crew said most of the water had receded by 1:30 p.m., though it was not draining well along the road.
