After a couple rounds of soaking rain today, we've managed to pick up around an inch of rain in many spots!
Watch for scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms through this evening, then a general clearing expected overnight with some fog.
Thursday brings a lower rain chance, but we'll still run the risk of scattered afternoon storms. In fact, any storm that develops could be briefly severe.
That means damaging wind and hail can't be ruled out! We should see more sunshine on Thursday, and that will add the "storm energy" and help storms build tall and strong.
By Friday a cold front will sweep through, and that will bring spotty showers and storms, but only a 30% chance for rain.
Friday Night Blitz will be starting up, so there will be a lot of excited football fans hoping for nice weather! Temps for the evening on Friday will be in the 70s for most spots with just a few showers and storms popping up.
The weekend looks GREAT as high pressure settles in, and temps will be a bit cooler than normal. We could still see isolated t-storms on Saturday, but most areas will be dry.
Sunday should be sunny and dry with lower humidity and temps in the upper 70s to low 80s! I'll take it!
