SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Another Upstate lottery player is sitting $500,000 richer in Spartanburg County this week.

Someone bought a Palmetto Cash 5 ticket that matched all five numbers for Monday's drawing.

The winning numbers were 1, 2, 16, 19 and 36 with Power-Up: 5.

The player bought the winning ticket at the Piedmont Petro Corner Mart on Chesnee Highway. They also powered up to multiply the $100,000 prize to $500,000.

Whoever bought the winning ticket has 180 days to claim their prize from the South Carolina Education Lottery. Once they do, the store will get a commission for selling the claimed ticket.

The odds of winning $500,000 playing Palmetto Cash 5 are 1 in 8,013,072.

This is second big win for a Spartanburg County player after someone won $1 million.
