GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -
Some Upstate drivers are starting their Wednesdays off with some savings because they're getting some free gas at Greenville gas station, paid for by Countybank.
Countybank is putting $20 of gas in the tanks of the first 200 people at the Spinx on East Washington Street at Laurens Road.
The free gas is up for grabs from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., but drivers were already lined up and waiting by 5 a.m.
The bank is paying for the gas part of the Take Back Your Banking initiative to support local banking. Countybank representatives will be at the Spinx to talk with drivers about their local banking options.
Drivers waiting in line for the free gas will be parked across the street from the Spinx as they wait their turn.
