The man accused of killing an elderly Greenville County couple has been charged with indecent exposure while being held in the detention center.
Jonathan Rhodes, 23, was being held without bond on charges of a double murder when he exposed himself to a female jail officer, deputies said.
According to warrants, Rhodes pulled his pants down and began to fondle himself in front of an officer at Greenville County Detention Center.
In October of 2012, deputies said 78-year-old Gary Wells and his wife, 77-year-old Helen, were found stabbed to death in their Terramont Drive home in Greenville County. Less than a month after their deaths, Greenville County deputies arrested Rhodes in connection with the deaths.
He was charged with two counts each of burglary, murder, kidnapping and possession of a weapon during a violent crime in connection to the couple's death.
