SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Spartanburg County deputies are looking for help identifying a suspect after the Lil' Cricket on Garner Road was robbed on Thursday.

Deputies said the suspect entered the store with a handgun and demanded money at about 7:30 p.m. The suspect then fled the store with the money and was last seen running down the railroad tracks near the store, deputies said.

Canine teams were called in to track the suspect but they were unable to find him, they said.

Lieutenant Tony Ivey said they have not been able to link the suspect with any other robberies in the county.

Ivey asks anyone with information about the identity of the robbery suspect or the crime to call Crime Stoppers at 888-CRIME-SC.
