4 people escape mobile home fire in Oconee Co.

WALHALLA, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The Oconee County deputy fire chief said 44 firefighters were called in to battle a fire that destroyed a mobile home Friday night.

Officials said four people escaped unharmed from the trailer at 581 Coneross Creek Rd.

Officials said they determined the fire started in a living room near the rear of the house. Officials said the cause of the fire is undetermined, and remains under investigation.

Emergency calls to 911 stated that flames were shooting out of the mobile home.
