CLEMSON, SC (AP) -

Clemson and Harvard universities are teaming up for a symposium on some of the implications of recent U.S. Supreme Court decisions.

On Thursday, the schools are set to host a gathering at Harvard entitled, "The Enduring Legacy of Charles Hamilton Houston: The Winding Road of the 2013 Supreme Court Decisions."

Organizers say legal researchers and scholars from around the country are expected to attend.

The symposium features Lamont Flowers, director of Clemson's Charles H. Houston Center, as well as Sherrilyn Ifill of the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund and Geena Rae McNeil, history professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Harvard law professor Charles Ogletree will moderate.
