Sen. Lindsey Graham will be in the Upstate Thursday speaking at a luncheon. The event is part of a public policy lunch series, hosted by the Greenville Chamber of Commerce.
It is expected that Graham will address the sold-out crowd around noon, and will provide a legislative update as to what is going on in Washington, D.C.
After the senator speaks, he'll participate in a Q&A session with attendees, where it's likely he'll face tough questions regarding the crisis in Syria.
Earlier this week the senator met with President Barack Obama on the issue, where he was quoted as saying Obama needed to "up his game," and outline a broader plan than just military intervention.
Military action, however, is a route many Americans do not support.
We're told more than 300 local business leaders will be in attendance at today's luncheon. The event was only open to members of the Greenville Chamber of Commerce.
FOX Carolina will have crews inside the luncheon and will bring updates to www.foxcarolina.com as well as have a report tonight on The Ten O'clock News.
