The second "Justice for Amanda" benefit took place on Saturday at Maximum Capacity.
The fundraiser was set up to give back to the community, and also helped spread the word about the case surrounding Amanda Plasse's unsolved murder.
"You know but it all comes down to justice for Amanda," said Michelle Mathieson, Plasse's mother. "Aug. 26, 2011, Amanda was murdered right here on this street, on a busy Friday afternoon. Her case is still unsolved, so I'm just hoping to get her word out and to be able to raise some funds."
There was plenty of family entertainment including live music from local bands, refreshments and a dunk tank.
Last year's event paid for upgrades to Wisniowski Park on School Street, as well as art supplies for Chicopee elementary schools.
