GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Greenville police said they were able to identify and arrest the man accused of robbing a teacher in the parking lot of the Sterling School on Monday.

Police said they were serving warrants Wednesday when they received a tip leading them to Sergio Lattimer, 24.

They said Lattimer had active bench warrants and when they went to his home, they arrested him in connection with Monday's robbery.

Greenville County Schools spokesman Oby Lyles said the third-grade teacher was mugged as she got out of her car. Because of the crime, he said they have increased security in and around the school.

Police said Lattimer was charged with strong armed robbery.
