The northwestern district attorney has decided to drop charges against two people accused of tying a rope around a young girl's neck and hanging her from a tree.
Lance Gouvan and Megan Bonny were arrested and charged in June 2012.
Police say they approached a girl with a jump rope in a field off Pomeroy Road in Northampton.
Two charges were already dropped last year, and now the remaining charges are also being dropped.
A spokeswoman for the district attorney's office says they decided it's not the best course of action at this time.
