Wofford, Ga. Southern play one last time in SoCon

COLUMBIA, SC (AP) -

Wofford is taking on a team Saturday that could ruin the Terriers chances to win the Southern Conference even though they have no chance to win the league title.

Georgia Southern is ineligible for the SoCon crown because they have extra scholarship players this season as the Eagles move to the Football Bowl Subdivision next season.

Wofford coach Mike Ayers says there is no sense rehashing the arguments because it is going to be the same for everybody. The Eagles have won the last three times over the Terriers.

In other games Saturday involving South Carolina's Football Championship Subdivision teams, The Citadel travels to Western Carolina; Presbyterian goes to Furman; Coastal Carolina is at Eastern Kentucky; Charleston Southern travels to Campbell; and South Carolina State hosts Alabama A&M.
