ASHEVILLE, NC (FOX Carolina) -

Buncombe County Sheriff's deputies said they were called out a high school football game Friday night after reports of shots fired.

Deputies said they were responded to Erwin High School, just after 10 p.m. after a caller reported hearing gunshots.

Deputies confirmed a fight broke out between two individuals at the football game between Erwin and Madison.

Deputies said no injuries occurred and no arrests were made.

Deputies said the investigation into this incident is ongoing.

Deputies said it was the second time they had been called out to fights at Erwin High School this week.

On Tuesday, deputies said two teachers were hurt when trying to break up a fight between a group of students.

Isael Delgado, 19, and Dequawn Daniels, 18, and six minor-aged students were charged with disorderly conduct for that fight, according to deputies.

Deputies have not said whether the two incidents were related.
