WALHALLA, SC (FOX Carolina) -

UPDATE: In July 2015, the charge against Joseph Beyer was dismissed.

Two suspects have been charged after allegedly selling meth to undercover agents, the Oconee County Sheriff's Office announced on Tuesday.

Joseph Edward Beyer, 45, and Tony Lamar Jenkins, 52, were both charged with the distribution of methamphetamine, according to Jimmy Watt of the sheriff's office.

Warrants said Beyer sold meth to an undercover agent on July 8 at his house on Hanvey Drive, deputies said.

Jenkins was charged based on a warrant that alleges he sold meth to an undercover officer on Sept. 23 at the same house on Hanvey Drive, Watt said.

Beyer was released on a $10,000 bond on Sept. 29, and Watt said, Jenkins is still being held on a $10,000 bond.

Watt said the Oconee County Sheriff's Office worked with the Seneca Police Department on the case.
