DUNCAN, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A group of bus passengers stopped in Duncan reached out to FOX Carolina, upset that they have been stranded in the Upstate for several hours.

Passengers on an ASLS Express bus heading from Atlanta to New York said the bus broke down around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday along Interstate 85 at exit 63.

"They promised us they'd get us another bus in three hours," said passenger Sadrac Alvarez. "It's now almost 7 a.m., and we don't know when we're going to get to New York."

Passengers told FOX Carolina that they were left waiting for about 10 hours before a new bus arrived.

FOX Carolina has tried calling the bus company's multiple lines but has yet to get a return call.

According to the passengers' tickets, the company is called Horse Run Tour, and according to the U.S. Department of Transportation, the company is called Atlanta Shuttle Limousine Service Inc.
