An Arden man is facing charges of sexual exploitation of a minor, according to the Buncombe County Sheriff's Office.
Thomas Aaron Fender, 31, is charged with seven counts of third degree sexual exploitation of a minor, according to deputies.
Deputies said he is currently being held at the detention center and the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
North Carolina law says that third degree sexual exploitation of a minor is:
"A person commits the offense of third degree sexual exploitation of a minor if, knowing the character or content of the material, he possesses material that contains a visual representation of a minor engaging in sexual activity."
