Deputies: Man shot in face in early morning shooting

SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Spartanburg County deputies are investigating a shooting that left a man injured early Saturday morning.

Deputies said they were called out to the Waffle House on Asheville Highway near Interstate 85 Business after a report of a man being shot.

According to the report from the Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office, witnesses said Rasondre Boozer was with a group of friends at a Waffle House.  The report states Boozer was last seen by witnesses was in the back parking lot of the restaurant.  When he walked in to the restaurant, witnesses told deputies that he was bleeding.

Boozer was later found at Spartanburg Hospital for Restorative Care seeking treatment, according to the report.

Deputies said Boozer suffered non-life-threatening injuries to his face.

Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office Lt. Tony Ivey added that the victim was highly intoxicated and has also been "very uncooperative."

Investigators said hope to get more information once he recovers from surgery for his injuries.
