ANDERSON, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Anderson County fire officials are working to figure out what caused a fire at a home on Shackleburg Road.

Volunteer firefighters from the Hopewell and Piercetown departments found the home on fire early Sunday morning.

When FOX Carolina arrived on scene, the house was gone and still smoking. The only thing standing were chimney stacks.

Our photographer on scene, saw a "For Sale or Lease" sign in front of the property.

Fire Officials say they are still investigating what may have caused the blaze.
