WOODRUFF, SC (FOX Carolina) -
Troopers said a Woodruff man died after he was thrown from his SUV after crashing in Spartanburg County Friday morning.
The Highway Patrol said the crash happened at 6:11 a.m. along Greenpond Road near Fowler Road in Woodruff.
FOX Carolina has a crew at the crash, and said one SUV was involved and had flipped over.
Cpl. Bill Rhyne with the Highway Patrol said the driver was headed west when he entered a lefthand curve, running off the right side of the road. He said the jeep then hit a ditch, overturned and threw the driver from the vehicle.
The driver was not wearing a seatbelt, according to troopers.
The Spartanburg County Coroner Rusty Clevenger identified the driver as Thomas Lindman, 20,
