GREENWOOD, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Two men have been charged after two teenage girls came home with tattoos, according to reports from the Greenwood County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies said they were alerted by the parents of the two girls, who were upset about the tattoos, according to the report.

The report said Zanquirous Hurley, 17, and Cory Griffin, 25, tattooed the teens' initials, an infinity symbol and the word "believe" on the victims.

Hurley and Griffin have been charged with illegal tattooing in connection with the incident, according to Greenwood deputies.

Deputies said the incident took place on Sept. 1.
