SIMPSONVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A teen has been missing from Simpsonville since earlier this month, according to the Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Jonathan Alfred Lisi, 17, was last seen on Oct. 2 about 5 p.m. when his mom said he was headed to Asheville to meet a friend but never showed.

Lisi's mom told FOX Carolina he ran away almost 2 years ago and came back after two weeks, but this time he left without his cell phone, money or anxiety medicine. She said he has Asperger syndrome.

The Center for Missing and Exploited Children consider Lisi an endangered runaway.

Lisi wears braces and he may wear glasses. He is 5'8" tall, weighs 200 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes.

If you have any information, please contact the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children at 1-800-843-5678 or the Greenville County Sheriff's Office at 1-864-271-5210.
