Deputies: 'Shake-and-bake' meth labs found in Oconee Co.

WESTMINSTER, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Two "shake-and-bake" meth labs were found on the side of the road in the past week, according to the sheriff's office.

The labs were found on Greenfield Road and Dinky Line Road in Westminster, deputies said.

Deputies described one of the meth labs as a large Pepsi bottle with a green and white color sand inside the bottle. They also said it had a strong odor.

Narcotics investigators were called out the the seen on Greenfield Road and determined the bottle was no longer active.

Deputies said the two liter bottle used in the meth lab that was found on Dinky road was busted. They said the bottle contained an unknown liquid. The lab was discarded, deputies said.
