GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The Furman Paladins are getting some good news behind center.

According to their official release, Paladins sophomore quarterback Reese Hannon will start on Saturday when they host Appalachian State.

Hannon's been dealing with an injured knee and ankle that's sidelined him for the past two weeks. They're 0-2 in that span.

The Paladins and Appalachian State will square off Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in Greenville.

It will be the last Southern Conference game between the two.

Appalachian State will join the Sunbelt Conference for the 2013-14 season.
