SYLVANIA, OH (Toledo News Now) -

An assistant coach of the Southview High School football team has been charged with drug trafficking and has been dismissed from the team.

Robert Paluch, 25, was arrested Thursday and released from the Lucas County Jail Friday on a $100,000 bond.

Sylvania Police have charged Paluch with aggravated trafficking. According to a police report, a search of Paluch's home turned up two glass jars containing 34 grams of marijuana, as well as a scale and a glass bong.

"It's sad. He's out here representing our school," said Terry Kershner, a Southview parent. "[The] kids are very disappointed."

Paluch is expected in court Oct. 31.
