PHOENIX (CBS5) -
Phoenix police have identified a man arrested Friday afternoon in connection with a fatal shooting in south Phoenix.
Frederick Ford, 34, was booked into the Fourth Avenue Jail on one count of premeditated first-degree murder.
A man's body was found in a yard near 21st Place and Southern Avenue about 3 p.m.
The suspect, a man in his 30s, fled on foot but was arrested soon after. Officers found him in a yard in the area of 6400 S. 21st Place. Police also recovered a gun, said Phoenix police Sgt. Tommy Thompson.
Officers said the two men had gotten into an argument that turned deadly.
The victim was a man in his early 30s. His name has not yet been released.
