GREENWOOD, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Police said they have identified the man accused of killing a Greenwood man earlier in October and are looking for his wife in connection with the shooting too.

Greenwood Police Capt. Nick Futch said the Greenwood Violent Crimes Task Force signed arrest warrants for two suspects in connection with the fatal shooting of Lonnie Cogdill, 42.

Cogdill was found shot to death inside his home on East Laurel Avenue around 11 p.m. on Oct. 11.

Since then, not much information was released about the investigation until Tuesday when Futch said warrants were filed for 35-year-old Daniel Shane Allen's arrest on charges of murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime.

He also said they police have a warrant for 20-year-old Megan Alexis Allen's arrest on the charge of for accessory to murder in connection with the shooting.

Futch said the Allens are married and Megan is likely with Daniel. He said Daniel Allen and the victim were acquaintances.

Anyone with information on their whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC or Investigator Bryan Louis at 864-942-8041.
