GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The Highway Patrol released a picture of a car they believe is a suspect vehicle in a fatal hit-and-run that killed a moped rider on Saturday night.

Troopers said a moped driver died after he was hit by two cars, both of which fled the scene, along Sulphur Springs Road in Greenville County.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol said the accident happened Saturday at 10:36 p.m. near the Goodwill store near Pine Grove Lane.

Cpl. Bill Rhyne said the moped driver was hit by a vehicle, ejected from the moped and struck again while lying in the roadway. We're told the driver was not wearing a helmet.

The Greenville County Coroner's Office identified the victim as 45-year-old Ricky Stevens.

Troopers said they hope a viewer can identify the make and model of the vehicle to help narrow down the search.
