Deputies: Camaro seen at burglary leads to arrests

LAURENS, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Deputies said they made multiple arrests in connection with a burglary at a Laurens home earlier in October.

Deputies said on Oct. 14, a champagne-colored 2000 Chevrolet Camaro was seen at a home on Wilsontown Road that was broken into.

Less than a week later, deputies said they arrested 21-year-old Rodney Pitts and 19-year-old Demavia Rice on charges of burglary first-degree, grand larceny, receiving stolen goods, possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime and simple possession of marijuana.

Deputies said they also arrested 18-year-old Lance Walls on charges of receiving stolen goods, and simple possession of marijuana. Deputies said Walls is being held for Union County in connection with another case.
