PIEDMONT, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The coroner has identified the body that deputies said was found near the Saluda Dam in Piedmont.

Lt. Sheila Cole with the Anderson County Sheriff's Office said deputies were initially called to the area to take a report on a woman who had been missing for four days around 2 p.m. Sunday.

Cole said when deputies arrived around 30 minutes later, they were flagged down by a person claiming to be a family member of the missing person. Cole said the family member told deputies they had found a body in the water nearby.

Cole said deputies confirmed that there appeared to be a body in the water near Prospect and Iler Streets.

Cole said Anderson County's Technical Rescue Squad, Pelzer Rescue and the Anderson County dive teams were called to the scene and removed the body around 6 p.m.

Coroner Don McCown identified the body as 23-year-old Anna Mosley.

McCown said an autopsy is scheduled for Monday.
