ANDERSON, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Anderson police are asking for the public's help locating the man who officers say shot another man inside Denny's on Clemson Boulevard in Anderson around 5 a.m. Saturday.

Lt. Tony Tilley said Michael Todd Stratton, 41, got into an argument with the victim that ended when Stratton shot the other man in the chest.

"The victim is a 25 year old male who was transported to the hospital for treatment of what appear to be non-life threatening injuries," Tilley said.

Tilley said Stratton has a possible Atlanta address.

Anderson City Police detectives have signed warrants charging Stratton with attempted murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime, Tilley said.

If anyone has any information about Stratton's whereabouts they are asked to call Anderson Area Crime Stoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
