The past several days have brought out a lot of beautiful Fall color across the region. In fact, foliage is at or near peak in most of Western North Carolina above 2,500 feet. The lower elevations have about another week to go before reaching peak in most areas. In the Upstate, colors are definitely starting to pop with some trees, but it will be at least a week before the Upstate sees peak colors. The weather for the remainder of the weekend will be beautiful on Sunday for a trip to do some foliage viewing. The Foliage Network (www.foliagenetwork.com) has good information and maps for our area as well as other areas of the country.
