TRAVELERS REST, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Travelers Rest police are looking for two men after a potential bank robbery was thwarted by employees.

Chief Lance Crowe said the employees saw a black Ford Focus come barreling into the parking lot of the Palmetto Bank on RoeCenter Court on Tuesday afternoon.

As the men came up to the front door, one employee at the bank yelled to another to trigger the automatic lock system, Crowe said.

Crowe said the doors locked before the men could get in.

He said the men were wearing ski masks and hoodies.

The Greenville County Forensics Division, the FBI and the Palmetto Bank's investigation unit are also responding to the scene.

No surveillance footage has been released.

Police are looking for the 2005-2007 black Ford Focus on Tuesday evening.
