GOODYEAR, AZ (CBS5/AP) -

A school bus collided with a pickup truck in Goodyear, but only one student has been injured along with both drivers, authorities said.

Fourteen students were aboard the bus at the time of Tuesday's 4 p.m. accident at the intersection of Van Buren Street and Estrella Parkway, said Goodyear Fire Department spokesman Russ Braden.

Braden said a 12-year-old student and the bus driver were taken to a hospital as a precaution and the remaining students were being picked up by their parents at a nearby parking lot.

Authorities say the driver of the pickup truck was transported to a Phoenix hospital with undisclosed injuries.

Television footage showed the truck with heavy damage.

Authorities say it appears the bus was rear-ended by the truck. It will be up to Goodyear police investigators to determine the crash's cause.

No other information was immediately available.
