SIMPSONVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A company whose headquarters is in Simpsonville has announced it will expand, generating a $50 million investment and several new jobs.

Fitesa Simpsonville produces non-woven fabric items for the global hygiene market and will expand to produce additional products. The expansion will generate at least 32 new jobs.

The expansion will upfit and remodel the company's 190,000-square-foot facility on Southeast Main Street and expect it the work to be done in November 2014.

Greenville County deputies said Fitesa's facility has been the victim of copper thieves recently, who have stolen at least $20,000 in copper wiring.
