GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A two-day meth lab "blitz" led to 14 arrests in the Upstate this week as deputies worked to locate and clean up local meth labs.

Greenville County deputies said they were working with Pickens County deputies, SLED and other law enforcement agencies on Monday and Tuesday checking 28 locations for suspected methamphetamine labs.

Deputies said 10 labs were identified and seized, leading to the 14 arrests. They said they also seized three poker machines and recovered a stolen vehicle.

In addition to the arrests, two people with active warrants from another county were arrested, deputies said.

They said two children were place with the Department of Social Services' custody during the operation.

One of the meth labs that was busted was along Owens Road in Piedmont. Deputies told FOX Carolina on Monday night that they received a call about an unusual smell in the area and then found a meth lab.
