SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -
Three people have been charged after a man was robbed at gunpoint of his paycheck that he just cashed, according to a report from the Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office.
Kirstie Woodrum, 18; Justin Rawls, 21; and Michael Taylor, 19, were charged with armed robbery, according to online jail records and warrants. Rawls was additionally charged with possession of a weapon during a violent crime, jail records said.
On Oct. 8, deputies said they were called to the Lil Cricket on Chesnee Highway in Spartanburg for the armed robbery that happened earlier in the morning.
The victim said he was locking up the store the night before when he saw Woodrum, his ex-girlfriend, in a car, the report said.
The victim pulled up next to the car and two men jumped out of the car and robbed him while one pointed a shotgun at his face, the report said.
According to the report, the suspects took almost $500 from the victim, which he said was from his paycheck that he had just cashed.
The victim did not call 911 after the incident and when he went into work the next day Woodrum came into the store with her young child and started causing a disturbance, the report said.
The report said that during the disturbance Woodrum yelled at the victim, "He should have shot you in the head last night."
Rawls is being held on $60,000 bond and Woodrum is being held on $15,000, according to jail records.
