Laurens County deputies arrested seven people near a home in Fountain Inn on charges ranging from manufacturing methamphetamine to unlawful disposal of meth waste and possession of meth.
Deputies were called to a home on Pat Garrett Drive for a possible fight with a possible hostage.
There, they spoke with three people in a vehicle in front of the house but heard other people running out of the back of the mobile home into the woods.
Deputies said they chased those people, who were found in some woods behind the house. There, deputies found items used to make meth, and those people were taken into custody.
Through their investigation, deputies found more items used to make meth inside the home.
All seven people were charged with manufacturing meth and unlawful disposal of meth waste: Krystal Chadwick, 21, of Waterloo; Jennifer Simmons, 21, of Gray Court; Joshua Harkcom, 32, of Gray Court; Travis Mahon, 35, of Gray Court; Harry Medlin, Jr., 39, of Gray Court; and Jesse Bishop, 54, and Billy Coward, 43, who both live at the home on Pat Garrett Drive.
Chadwick was also charged with possession of methamphetamine.
The seven people are being held at the Johnson Detention Center in Laurens County.
