The Pinal County Sheriff's Office has arrested 13 people in a smuggling case.

Deputies say two cars were pulled over for a traffic violation, and the deputies found both filled with people.

Deputies say they discovered one of the people had been deported from the U.S. to Mexico two times and had made arrangements to transport the people.

Deputies say the group was bringing marijuana into the country and had carried it on their backs through the desert for five days.

They were all booked into the Pinal County Jail.
