We all know reading is important and for many in Alabama, so is football. Friday, a second grader at Jemison Elementary School was rewarded for her reading with Iron Bowl tickets!
Kelsey Eloff was just one of 74,000 students from 728 schools to participate in the Alabama Education Association's "Be a Champion and Read" contest.
To qualify, Eloff had to read six books. Statewide, the AEA claims 446,000 books were read during the contest.
Eloff will receive two tickets to the Iron Bowl and a visit to the field before kickoff.
