CHARLESTON, SC (RNN) – In a game of back and forth, a late jump shot gave the Georgia Bulldogs another road loss and the Temple Owls (2-3) a 83-81 victory on Friday night.

The loss was at the Charleston Classic tournament in Charleston, SC. It was Georgia's (1-3) third straight loss.

The Dawgs led 81-80 with 18 seconds left, until the Owls' Will Cummings made a key 3-point jumper with seven seconds left. Georgia's Donte Williams missed a desperation 3-pointer to end the game.

The Bulldogs had four players score in double digits, including 10 points off the bench from forward Nemanja Djurisic. Guard Kenny Gaines led all Georgia scorers with 20 points.

Georgia had a solid night shooting, making 50 percent of their field goals and 85 percent of their free throw shots. Both teams had 30 rebounds apiece.

Georgia's next opponent will be the Nebraska Cornhuskers on Sunday as a part of the Charleston Classic.
